Nestle R&D Accelerator is a 6 month "lab to shop" program to translate innovative ideas and concepts into tangible prototypes and products. We offer holistic support to achieve product market fit through real world pilot testing, defined route to market and validate consumer insights.

We invite innovative food start-ups in "affordable nutrition" space to apply for program.

Program Offerings:

Access to Expertise

You will have access to R&D expertise in areas of product formulation, manufacturing process, food safety, regulatory, compliance, marketing, branding, finance etc. A dedicated end-to-end Innovation Coach, mentoring from our business and tailored trainings along the way.

R&D Infrastructure

Access to Nestle R&D labs, office infrastructure, experimental prototyping kitchen and benchscale technologies

Fast Track Funding

We support you through dedicated budget covering project costs for product development, analytical testing, digital testing, growth hacking, mini production and a shop test. Also, opportunity to be funded by Nestle Ventures after the program.

Focus Area: Affordable Nutrition (Wholesome nutritious product at affordable price-points in area of food, snacks, beverages)

Timelines:

• Program duration is 6 months, adherence to timelines is very important
• 100% involvement of start-up team is required
